2009 Sires

ISU 6121
RR
(ISU 5180 x ISU 2039)

He has fast become our favorite sire at ISU. Stoutness and balance are transmitted from this sire. His lambs are fast growing, heavy muscled and very attractive. 6121 leads all Hampshire sires for 120 day weight EPD.
Semen available. Call for details.

SDSU 80102
RR
(ISU 6121 x SDSU 60125)

We leased this 6121 son from South Dakota State University for the breeding season to complement his sire. 80102 carries the same stoutness and balance as 6121 while adding extension through the front 1/3 of his body.

Polo
QRNS
(Hawk x Cheyenne)

Polo has a lot to offer to our wether ewe flock and also as a purebred sire. Purchased from Greiner Club Lambs in 2008, he is Cabaniss bred. Polo is extremely long patterned, handles with a lot of muscle and proportion of hindsaddle and is well balanced. He will add more natural thickness to our Hampshire ewes and we are very excited about his potential stud ram prospects.

Reference Sires

HO 5118-05
RR
(HO 8346-98 x HO 1200-01)

Purchased from Dean and Connie Houghton of MO in 2005. Moderate framed, heavy muscled and well balanced. He is now deceased, but his legacy continues in the lambs he sired. A lot of his sons were sold for stud rams and a lot of his daughters make up our ewe base
